We have loved meeting our new Class this half term. Everyone has been busy learning and getting to know each other. We’ve covered a lot of topics including the following stories: The Colour Monster, The Storm Whale and Anansi. We have also been celebrating Black history month, learning all about black heroes such as Rosa Parks and Garett Morgan, the inventor of the traffic light. We have explored colour mixing and we have taken a close look at the changes all around us that the Autumn brings. We finish this half term by learning the story of Diwali and we are looking forward to some colourful celebrations when we return to the Classroom in November. Thank you to all the children who have made Autumn 1 such a wonderful start to the nursery school year.
